Celebration of Maiden Convocation Ceremony

on 2nd Novemeber 2009 at Yashada Auditorium, Baner.

Synergy Institute of Management, Pune has celebrated its maiden Convocation event at YASHADA Auditorium, Baner Road on 2nd  November, 2009. Pune witnessed the top strata of corporate leaders and academics in town on this momentous occasion.  

The Chief Guest, Mr. Allen Pereira, CMD, Bank of Maharashtra delivered the Convocation Address along with the Guest of Honour and Key Note speaker Mr. Ishwar Chandra Mangal, President, Suzlon Energy Ltd.

A total of 150 students passed out and were handed out their degrees at the hands of the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour.

Member of the Academic Council of SIM, Mr. Pradeepkumar, Global Tech Head, Suzlon Energy Ltd. was present at the occasion along with the who’s who of the business world, the parents of the students and the alumni at the function.

An elated Prof. Suresh Abhyankar, Director, SIM  said “I am glad that the Maiden Convocation program took off so well starting with invocations to Almighty, cruised through enlightening experience sharing talk of our Guests, finally landed successfully to the immense satisfaction of the students, their parents and stake holders of SIM”. 

Gratified Mrs. Meera Jindal, Secretary, Synergy Foundation in her thanks giving speech expressed “Indeed, I am overwhelmed by the response of all the stake holders of SIM in making this function a memorable one worth cherishing for times to come.  We at SIM are habitually always striving to achieve excellence and derive satisfaction in our thoughts and acts. Our students accustomed to be meticulous not only in studies but all the fields of activities.”

The function concluded with recitation of ‘Pasaydan’, the soul stirring verses of Saint Dyaneshwar in which he wishes each one of us to see how innately good and loving we are at our core.
